Opera Theatre St. Louis Event Image
  • April 27, 7:30 p.m. & April 29, 6:30 p.m.
  • Winifred Moore Auditorium (Webster University), 470 E. Lockwood Avenue

Experience two of OTSL’s operas as masterpieces for the silver screen! On April 27 at 7:30 p.m., join us for Camille, a 1936 film starring Greta Garbo, to see a classic Hollywood take on the plot of La traviata. Film expert Cliff Froehlich will lead a Q&A session afterward. Two days later, on April 29 at 6:30 p.m., we return to the movies for The Little Foxes, a cinematic adaptation of the groundbreaking play that inspired Regina. Join Artistic Director James Robinson for remarks before The Little Foxes and stay for a Q&A session led by professor Diane Carson. Who doesn’t love a weekend of great films?

These events are hosted by the Webster University Film Series.
