2018 Opera On the GO!

Opera on the GO! brings the magic of opera to young people across the St. Louis region, through a series of workshops that culminate in an abridged performance of an opera at area schools. A special sensory friendly performance will be offered at Southview School on October 27 at 1 p.m. (Learn more here.)

This year, the program will feature Rossini’s beloved comedy The Barber of Seville. The cast includes a talented ensemble of current and past Gerdine Young Artists and Richard Gaddes Festival Artists, listed below.

The program will visit the following 21 schools throughout the St. Louis area in two weeks: Collinsville High School, South City Catholic Academy, Cross Keys Middle School, Ferguson Middle School, McKinley Classical Leadership Academy, Woerner Elementary, Compton-Drew ILC, Kennard Classical Junior Academy, Jefferson Intermediate School, Washington Elementary, Southview School, Biome School, Griscom School & Juvenile Detention Center, MICDS, Ames VPA, Keeven Elementary, Townsend Elementary, Mason Elementary, Kirk Day School, University City High School, St. Gabriel School.
