OTSL Welcomes New Director of Development, Linda Schulte

Today, Opera Theatre is pleased to announce the newest member of the OTSL team, Director of Development Linda Schulte. Linda is already a familiar face to many of our family and friends, for although she most recently served as Director of External Affairs at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, she actually began her professional career at Opera Theatre in 2007 as a festival season intern. Linda remained with Opera Theatre until 2011 after advancing as a member of the company’s annual staff where she served as OTSL’s Development Systems Manager, followed by a promotion to Executive Assistant to the General Director and then Manager for Board and Media Relations.

Linda has a wealth of fundraising and communications expertise, an in-depth knowledge of the St. Louis community, and is a musician herself — she plays both the cello and string bass. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Truman State University and completed her Master of Arts degree in International Affairs at Washington University.

Opera Theatre is delighted to welcome Linda Schulte back to this company. Meanwhile, previous Director of Development Nicole Freber remains with the company in her new role as Managing Director of Advancement. In this position, Nicole will oversee and coordinate OTSL’s development, marketing, and community partnership teams to align all forms of the company's external affairs.

Opera Theatre thanks its donors, patrons, and supporters for partnering with us to bring the power and beauty of opera to our community.
