Puccini wrote some of the most iconic operas in history, from Madame Butterfly to La bohème to Turandot. In Il tabarro, discover the master of Italian opera with a heartbreaking jewel, featuring a chilling love triangle on the River Seine in Paris. In Pagliacci, the line between life and art is tragically blurred for a troupe of travelling actors who are torn apart by jealousy.
Witness as love, passion, betrayal, and murder converge in this breathtaking double bill that reveals Italian opera at its most raw and most powerful — directed and designed by the team that created 2012’s hit production of Sweeney Todd.
Combined run time of both operas is two and a half hours.
