YOU’LL HAVE A GREAT TIME.
The Opera Theatre experience is unlike any other. As your schedule permits, come early or stay late and enjoy the fun of time in our gardens, with delicious picnics before or drinks with our singers after.
Picnicking begins 2 hours prior to each performance - order ahead, bring your own, or enjoy sandwiches, snacks, and full bar available for purchase the day of the opera. If you want to be informed further about the music in each piece, a free opera preview is offered one hour prior to each performance. After the opera, stay for drinks under the tent and meet the singers whose work on stage stole your heart. It’s fun, informal, and everyone is welcome.
WHEN DO I NEED TO GET THERE?
If you aren’t planning to come and picnic before the show, plan to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the opera. It will give you that little extra time to park, time to enjoy reading some of the features in our handsome season program book - and, as performances begin promptly, it will help you avoid missing the start of the opera in case any unforseen circumstances delay you. Patrons arriving after the performance will be seated at the discretion of the house staff. They will do their best to seat latecomers at an appropriate point in the opera. We do this to ensure that our audiences can enjoy the performances with a minimum of distraction during the opera. Closed-circuit TV monitors are placed in the lobby.
Performances start at:
Wednesday - Saturday: 8:00 p.m.
Sunday: 7:00 p.m.
Matinees: 1:00 p.m.
