Opera Theatre of Saint Louis is pleased to announce its 2011 Artists-in-Residence (AIR) program. This program features two of America’s brightest young opera singers in concert with piano accompaniment. Your group will enjoy a 45-minute performance of well-known arias, duets and art songs from opera, operetta, as well as Broadway and musical theater favorites.
Performances are available December 3-December 14, 2011 and can be scheduled from 10 a.m. through the early evening hours. The artists will perform at your facility or a facility you designate. The cost for each performance is $300.
To enhance the presentation, a question and answer session with the artists is held after each performance. This is an excellent opportunity for students and adults to learn from the performers’ point-of-view about vocal training, educational paths, performance, and professional careers in music.
