Box
Office Staff
|
 |
|
The
Box Office is often thought of as the "front line" of
Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Many of our patrons will never interact
with the other departments of the company, so it is the job of
the Box Office staff to not only help the opera-goers with tickets,
but also to represent Opera Theatre in the most courteous and
professional way possible.
The
Box Office staff works closely with the Box Office Manager and
the Assistant Box Office Manager to assist in all aspects of ticketing,
from first time audience members to the special requests of major
donors and the Board of Directors.
Applicants
must be patient. Anyone who works in the box office must have
the ability to remain calm under pressure and to deal courteously
with the public. A professional, knowledgeable, and helpful attitude
is essential. Applicants must have basic typing and computer skills.
