Along with the four main stage productions, Opera Theatre offers events during the festival season that provide a closer look at the operatic world.
"Spotlight on Opera "
Learn more about each opera in these popular sessions led by the conductor and directors who bring OTSL productions to the stage. Young ensemble artists also perform operatic excerpts at the seminars, which are held in the Winifred Moore Auditorium at Webster University at 7:30 p.m. The $30 series admission includes refreshments with panelists after all four seminars. For individual lectures, admission is $10 at the door.

"A Little Lunch Music"
These three free Monday noontime concerts present performances by some of the young artists featured in main season productions. Each concert begins at 12:30 p.m. Classic 99 KFUO-FM serves as a sponsor for the series.

"John D. Levy Master Class Series"
Renowned professionals in the opera field offer inspiration and insight to OTSL audiences and young singers from the main season ensemble. These Friday afternoon sessions are held in the Winifred Moore Auditorium on Webster University's campus. The 2006 season classes are scheduled for June 16 and June 23. Tickets are available at the door for $10.
Dress Rehearsals
Schools and senior adult organizations can request tickets to attend the orchestra dress rehearsals for Opera Theatre's main season productions. Seating is limited. For more information, call (314) 963-4248.
