Opera Theatre of Saint Louis 30th Festival Season

May 21 - June 26, 2005

Join us for a spring festival season featuring "the best and brightest American talent" in fresh new productions accompanied by members of the famed Saint Louis Symphony. Enjoy picnics in the gardens around the theater, and meet the artists in the tent after performances.

If you liked Carmen you’ll love the gorgeous music and suspenseful story of Verdi’s Rigoletto; it’s followed by Romeo and Juliet, a romantic setting of Shakespeare’s great classic. Next comes Gretry’s Beauty and the Beast – not Disney but just as magical – and Britten’s Gloriana; the private life of Elizabeth and Essex, featuring our own superstar Christine Brewer.

Above all, act quickly, and you'll find tickets available to all performances. We do sell out, but not until late in the season. We'lllook forward to seeing you!
