NOTICE TO OPERA THEATRE SUBSCRIBERS

A NEW ADVANTAGE of being a subscriber is that you may exchange your subscription tickets for another performance of the same opera FREE!  Ticket exchange requests must be made 48 hours in advance of the desired performance.  Exchanges will be made in the same section and price category as the original tickets if possible.  If we are only able to exchange tickets at a lower price, you will receive a receipt for the balance, which may be claimed as a tax-deductible contribution.

Single tickets may be exchanged for a fee of $10.00 per seat.  Exchanges must be made 48 hours in advance of the desired performance. Please note that tickets for past performances may not be exchanged or donated and exchanges are subject to availability.

Subscribers may exchange tickets in person at the Opera Theatre Box Office, Loretto-Hilton Center, 130 Edgar Road.  The Box Office is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Exchanges can also be made by mailing the tickets, the exchange request, a daytime phone number and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:  Subscriber Services, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, P.O. SPECIAL SERVICES

Patrons with special needs should notify the Box Office at the time of purchase to arrange for disabled seating.  A limited number of handicapped parking spaces is available in the Big Bend Lot at the east entrance of the Loretto-Hilton on a first-come, first-served basis.  We cannot legally reserve them exclusively for our patrons.

We encourage hearing-impaired patrons to use our infrared listening system; please see the House Manager when you arrive at the theater to make arrangements.

LOST & FOUND

Contact the House Manager’s office at (314) 968-8888 after 10:00 a.m.

HOUSE RULES

ALL PERFORMANCES BEGIN PROMPTLY, except in the unlikely event of a technical problem.  In deference to the artists and the majority of our audience who arrive on time, we cannot delay the start of a performance for latecomers.  Patrons arriving after the performance has begun may miss substantial portions of the opera--perhaps as much as the entire first act.  Latecomers may watch the performance on closed-circuit TV in the lobby.

Patrons expecting emergency calls during a performance should direct calls to the House Manager's Office, (314) 968-8888,  and leave their names and seat locations with the House Manager.  Electronic pagers and cellular phones must be left with patron’s name and seat location with the House Manager.  Signal watches must be turned off in the auditorium.

Any use of cameras and/or recording equipment in the theater is strictly prohibited.

PARKING

To avoid last-minute parking problems, we encourage patrons to arrive early, park at leisure, and enjoy the hospitality of the pavilion and beautiful campus of Webster University.  The BIG BEND LOT is reserved for prepaid parking on subscription evenings, but a limited number of additional spaces are available at $5.00 per car.

Free parking is available on other Webster University student lots, but it is limited on some week nights.  Parking is also available most evenings in the parking garage or on the lots at Nerinx Hall and Webster Groves High School.
