Each December, Opera Theatre brings two professional opera singers and an accompanist to St. Louis area schools and community organizations with a wide variety of musical selections to introduce audiences to the riches of the vocal music repertoire. Groups will enjoy a performance of well-known arias, duets and art songs from operas and operettas, as well as Broadway and musical theatre favorites.
Question/Answer sessions during each 45-minute performance offer students and adults a look into the world of vocal training, performance and professional careers in music.

This program also includes a special holiday conc
ert for Friends of the Festival in December at the Sheldon Concert Hall, bringing a closer look at the next generation of young American singers.
