Opera Theatre St. Louis

Internships
ABOUT THE BOEING/ARTS AND EDUCATION COUNCIL ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Opera Theatre of Saint Louis is known as a center for training young professionals in all aspects of opera, including administration.  A number of Opera Theatre staff members started as OTSL interns or seasonal staff, and other graduates of the internship program are working at arts organizations in St. Louis and around the country.  Opera Theatre internships offer real work experience in a busy festival environment and are usually available in the following areas: artistic administration, business, development, education, pr/marketing and patron services.  For all positions a basic familiarity with (and enthusiam for) opera and/or classical music is desirable and adds to interns’ enjoyment of seasonal activities.  In any case, interns must be willing to learn about the operas presented during the season.  Interns participate are invited to attend lectures, recitals, and rehearsals as their schedules permit.

Opera Theatre's Boeing/Arts and Education Council Administrative Internship program is made possible by the Boeing/Arts and Education Council Collaborative Grant and The Boeing Company.
