OPERA THEATRE'S REPERTORY has always included a mixture of familiar and unusual works -- even in 1976 the company's first season offered Don Pasquale, Albert Herring, and a double bill of The Medium and The Impresario. In 31 seasons the company will have presented seventeen world premieres and twenty-one American premieres.




OTSL cast lists read like a Who's Who in American opera, with early appearances by singers like Jerry Hadley, Kallen Esperian, Sylvia McNair and Christine Brewer who moved gradually from small to featured roles under the aegis of well-known directors and conductors.
